The Countryman is the one with five doors, back seats an adult can sit in without negotiating, and a boot that takes a buggy. It is the Mini for people whose life stopped fitting in a Mini — you keep the shape, the toggle switches and the way it steers, and you stop apologising to whoever is sitting behind you.

This one is black, on black alloys, in Cooper trim. As a 2015 petrol it is ULEZ compliant, so it goes into the zone without paying the daily charge.

Why it is £3,000

It has covered 102,000 miles. That is the whole reason for the price, and we would rather put it at the top of the advert than have you find it at the bottom.

What comes with it is a long ticket. The MOT runs to January 2027, so this is not a car that needs testing the month after you buy it.
